Audi F1 Team (formerly Kick Sauber)

Audi officially entered Formula 1 in 2026, taking over the Kick Sauber team based in Hinwil, Switzerland. The German manufacturer — part of the Volkswagen Group — announced their F1 entry in 2022 and completed the acquisition of the Sauber Group ahead of the 2026 season. Audi's entry coincides with the most significant technical regulation change in F1 history: the 2026 power unit regulations, which feature a near 50/50 split between the internal combustion engine and electric motor, and 100% sustainable fuel.
